Radiology Assistant

An opportunity for two radiology assistants has arisen to work in our busy Radiography Department based at Caithness General Hospital, Wick.

Our professional, friendly and supportive imaging team is committed to both excellence and high standards.

You will be assisting patients, Sonographers, Radiographers and Radiologists when undertaking a range of Diagnostic Imaging techniques performed through-out the Department.  Maintaining patient dignity and comfort is essential.

We are looking for dynamic, enthusiastic, and caring team players who have the ability to provide assistant and reassurance to our service users at what can often be a challenging time for them.  Communication skills are essential for this role.

In house training will be provided to enhance skills in health care and IT as required.

There are two permanent posts available, one full time post, working 37 hours per week, to be worked Monday to Friday, and one part time post of 14.8 hours per week, which would be worked over two days or as per service requirements.

This role does not meet the eligibility criteria for a Skilled Worker visa or a Health and Care Worker visa. NHS Highland is unable to provide candidates with a Certificate of Sponsorship (CoS).
