MSK Physiotherapist

We are looking for an experienced MSK physiotherapist who can provide physiotherapy to patients presenting with a wide range of acute and chronic MSK conditions, accepting referrals from a wide variety of sources such as GP’s, FCP’s, Orthopaedics and other healthcare professionals. You must be able to provide a high standard of care, providing specialised advice regarding musculoskeletal assessment, diagnosis and an appropriate treatment for patients.
The successful candidate will also:-
- Participating in service development
- Provide clinical supervision, support, training and delegation and training to Band 5 physiotherapists, students, and physiotherapy assistants
- Manage patient care as part of a wider team including GP’s, Occupational therapists, specialist consultants etc.
- Active participation in their own clinical and service development within protected learning time and non-clinical time. Including regular Inservice training, service development and quality improvement.
There is also the opportunity to work within the local cardiac rehabilitation service alongside the cardiac nurse. This includes supporting and guiding individuals to return to, or increase physical activity and exercise safely. Assisting them to manage their risk factors and preserve or resume optimal functioning long term.
This is a fixed term / secondment full-time post of 37 hours to January 2026, to be worked in accordance with service requirements.
Part-time hours would be considered
A driving licence is essential and applicants should have access to their own vehicle for work purposes, if required.
