About LionVolt:
LionVolt is a deep-tech start-up working on a revolutionary battery using a 3D anode architecture that will boost battery performance, and by doing so bring an important contribution to achieving global net zero goals. Our Mission is to develop and scale 3D batteries to deliver the highest performance, fastest charging, safest, and most sustainable battery solutions. This is enabled by the combination of our novel 3D battery architecture, with unique coating processes for the various materials in the battery stack. Our dream is to start work on a Giga factory within five years, targeting the fast-growing battery industry.
Our multinational and highly diverse team consists of 40 people across multiple locations. Our innovation centre is based at the High Tech Campus in Eindhoven, a leading European innovation hub, and we have our cell manufacturing facility in Scotland. In addition, we are expanding our manufacturing capacity with a new production line at the Brainport Industries Campus (BIC) in Eindhoven, giving us everything we need to realise our innovation. To support this exciting next step, we are looking for a Maintenance Technician to join our team.
This is How you can contribute:
We are looking for an enthusiastic Maintenance Technician who will be responsible for undertaking the maintenance of both the plant equipment within LionVolt and the building at Denchi House based in our Scotland Production Environment.
This person may be asked to assist in several exciting projects within LionVolt.
The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Put health & safety best practices first in all work carried out ensuring compliance with all health & safety standards and regulations.
- Comply with all company policies and procedures as well as legislative requirements including Health and Safety
- Ensure appropriate use of PPE
- Provide general maintenance support on all buildings and plant
- Carry out routine scheduled maintenance work and respond to equipment faults.
- Diagnose and fix breakdown problems
- Deal with emergencies, unplanned problems and repairs
- Troubleshoot and complete appropriate facility repairs
- Identify process improvements
- Supporting the team with customer, contractor and site visits as required.
- Troubleshooting maintenance based challenges
- Assist with maintenance reports & Maintaining maintenance records
- React quickly to breakdowns, communicate clearly with affected parties and work efficiently to fix the issue.
- Support continuous improvement by learning from breakdowns and sending feedback and suggestions for improvements through the line manager.
- Support and learn from the wider team.

- You have City & Guilds 2382-22 18th Edition
- Experienced in Factory and machinery maintenance
- Team player, motivated person, capable and willing to learn new technologies and methods and assist in our Stores environment when needed.
