NHS Healthcare Support Worker (Band 2)
Part Time, Permanent, 34.1 hours per week
Salary: £24,647 – £26,763 pro-rata
We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic Healthcare Support Worker to join our friendly team within the Bignold Ward at Caithness General Hospital, Wick.
We are a busy 21-bed post-acute and rehabilitation ward. We care for a variety of complex conditions such as stroke and neurological conditions, orthopaedics and elderly care. This has led our team to develop an advanced skill set in many different areas of nursing.
As a Healthcare Support Worker, you will be supported in completing further training and gaining the experience needed to deliver a high standard of evidence based patient centred care. You will be working closely with the multi-disciplinary team and will play a key role in implementing rehabilitation goals. You will also be an essential team member by supplying pressure area care and personal care to vulnerable patients.
This is a permanent part-time post of 34.1 hours per week, working a rotational contract and covering a 7-day rota in accordance with service requirements.
