Asset Maintenance Engineer/Manager
Location: Janetstown/Harpsdale
Term: Permanent
Reporting to: Directors
About the role:
We are looking for an Asset Maintenance Engineer / Manager who will be responsible for all proactive and reactive maintenance for site assets within the company.
Responsibilities/Duties:
- Planning and carrying out scheduled maintenance.
- Responding to emergencies. Diagnosing faults.
- Supervising contractors, and engineering and technical staff.
- Ordering specialist components, fixtures or fittings.
- Creating maintenance procedures.
- Managing stocks of supplies and equipment.
- Tracking expenses and overseeing the budget for maintenance.
- Maintaining all machinery to ensure itβs at working standards.
- Conducting regular inspections of the facilities to detect and resolve problems.
- Ensuring maintenance procedures comply with plant safety regulations.
- Maintaining inventories of maintenance material, supplies and repair parts at required levels by initiating requisitions.
Candidate requirements:
- Formal engineering qualification to at least Level 3.
- Strong knowledge of engineering methodologies and tools.
- IOSH certified
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
