Technical Clerk

Location: Janetstown/Harpsdale

Term: Permanent

Reporting to: Workshop Manager

About the role:

JGC are looking for a Technical Clerk to assist in the smooth running of our engineering projects. The role would be suited for someone who has an interest in or experience in the fabrication process, from ordering/recording of materials to the final handover of the documentation.

Responsibilities/Duties:

  • Accumulating quotes
  • Purchasing of materials
  • Recording quality documents
  • Preparing handover documents for scanning
  • Filing and general office duties
  • Carry out a varied range of administrative duties in supporting the Engineering and Project Team

Candidate requirements:

  • Interested in Engineering industry
  • Computer literate especially in email, word and excel (MS365)
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team
