Project Manager

LionVolt is a deep-tech start-up working on a revolutionary battery using a 3D anode architecture that will boost battery performance, and by doing so bring an important contribution to achieving global net zero goals. Our Mission is to develop and scale 3D batteries to deliver the highest performance, fastest charging, safest, and most sustainable battery solutions. This is enabled by the combination of our novel 3D battery architecture, with unique coating processes for the various materials in the battery stack. Our dream is to start work on a Giga factory within five years, targeting the fast-growing battery industry.

Our multinational and highly diverse team consists of 40 people across multiple locations. Our innovation centre is based at the High Tech Campus in Eindhoven, a leading European innovation hub, and we have our cell manufacturing facility in Scotland.  In addition, we are expanding our manufacturing capacity with a new production line at the Brainport Industries Campus (BIC) in Eindhoven, giving us everything we need to realise our innovation. To support this exciting next step, we are looking for a Project Manager to join our team.

 

This is How you can contribute:

We are looking for an enthusiastic Project Manager who will be responsible for setting up and manging both internal and customer funded projects with our Scottish   Production Environment. This person may be asked to assist in several other projects within the Scottish facility and LionVolt in general.

 

The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Communicate with staff and clients across the organization to ensure projects are monitored and delivered on schedule and to the appropriate quality standards.
  • Creating long- and short-term plans, including the agreement and setting of deliverables and milestones after consultation with stakeholders.
  • Delegation and monitoring of internal and external tasks to multi-disciplinary teams across the organization.
  • Provide scheduling of the cell prototyping facility with the Scottish production environment.
  • Making effective decisions and laying out options to progress the project within the timescales and budgets allocated.
  • Communicating with Senior Management Team to ensure projects are aligned with the company goals.
  • Performing quality control to the relevant standards on projects throughout the development cycle.
  • Adjusting schedules and targets, using MS project and reporting progress in relevant meetings.

  • You are a team player who has drive and ambition and wants to be part of an exciting international start-up.
  • Experienced managing projects within a high-tech environment is preferable but not essential.
  • Experience with MS project software although training will be provided.
  • Proficient with Microsoft office.
